 Memoirs are not autobiographies because they do not tell you the entire story.  A memoir usually takes a look at one aspect of your life. Sometimes a memoir can be used to “sum up” your life in one incident, memory, or attitude.  Any moment from the mundane to the powerful can provide inspiration for a memoir. Memoir
