Presentation transcript:

 MESSAGE GOAL: The goal of this session is to help you understand the priority of what we should focus on during DMPD.  MAIN POINTS OF THIS SESSION: 1.Know the four possible places to focus on and their order of priority. 2.Understand some things we can do to keep this priority of focus.

Normally what staff do during Support Development is focus on “Money.” Their order of priority is first to get money, then to become good at raising support, then to be a Support Coach and last to listen from God. This is exactly the wrong order of priority. Our focus should be like that in the diagram of the train.

We usually get the wagon we focus on and all the wagons behind. So if we focus on getting money, that is all we will get, and not very much of it. Horse “Blinders” - When the Focus is on God, the pressure is not on us anymore. It’s all about God and what He wants to teach us. 1)How God is working, how He is being faithful to us and to our character growth in Him. 2)Learning to be the best possible Support Coach. 3)To personally be well trained in DMPD. 4)The money we raise.

 Les Aveuglette du Cheval

1)Prayer: Keep asking God to keep your spiritual eyes open to observe what He is doing. 2)Be teachable to what He is trying to do in your life and character. 3)Go with each other on appointments to observe and critique. Do the critique properly. 4)Observe and Critique each other during calling times. Be an active participant during Sharing Times. 5)Concentrate on continuously improving in all you are doing. 6)Keep listening to the Attitude Messages daily.

1.Focus on God and what He is trying to teach you. 2.Learn from each other, especially at Sharing Times. 3.Continue to listen to the Attitude Messages daily.
