WEATHER Temperature ranges from 20ª to 30ª. In the savanna there are 2 seasons: – summer is 6-8months – winter is 4-6 months.

PLANTS The grass lands are usually located in plaines. The most important plant found on the grassland are grasses. You can also find: There are Acacia trees and baobab trees that need small amount of water. Different grasses and shrubs may be found there too. Acacia Tree Baobab TreeLiantris

PLANTS Do to the high temperatures on summer, natural fires are common in this area.

These are some animals you may find in the grasslands…

ANIMALS In the savanna there are many animals, between them, the are Elephants, Giraffes and Lions. A food chain in the savanna :The gazelle eats grass, the lion eats the gazelle, the vulture eats the lion and the bacteria eats vulture.

PEOPLE AND SAVANNA Some people live on the grasslands, many of the activities they can do is farming and hunting.

PEOPLE AND THE GRASSLAND Some environmental concern with savannas include hunting, overgrazing and destruction of land for commercial crops. Many animals are being extinct and we need to help all of those animals survive, and save them like God saved us.
