30 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; John 14:16

31 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26

32 What wad proved to be impossible under the Law, is possible under the Gospel.

33 To Impart Jesus Christ’s Life.

34 Ever since the fall of man God has demonstrated in many different ways that man has not got the power in himself, to do what he ought to do, to please God.

35 With the coming of Jesus Christ to save man the whole picture changed. The Eternal God became man in the person of Jesus Christ in order to provide salvation for us.

36 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 1:17

37 It was necessary in the working out of this new life in us, that we be made free from that which entangles us in sin.

38 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2

39 Until the time of our trusting in Christ Jesus. it held us down in Sin. The Law of Moses could never bring us this release.

40 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: Romans 8:3

41 Still more is needed, however. Jesus Christ went to the throne of the Father, in order to do a work for us also.

42 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 1 John 2:1

43 advocate = a lawyer who pleads cases in court Thus we not only need a divine Person, we also need a divine Person before the throne of God to plead for us when we Sin.

44 In this way the work of Christ for our Salvation is preserved since it does not rest on us but on Him.

45 It includes providing us with divine energy and a divine life so that we become more like Christ Jesus.

47 We have been chosen of God to represent Jesus Christ on this earth.

48 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. John 15:16

49 We have been chosen for the purpose of bringing forth fruit, something impossible for us to nfulfill on our own.

61 Not everyone is called to do all the preaching, or all the teaching, or all the leading. Since He dwells in us, for that purpose, we have the responsibility of letting Him control us so that His work in us, will go unhindered.

62 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. John 7:37

63 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:38

64 The Holy Spirit dwells in us to bring this to realisation in our lives.

65 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John 14:18

66 from the Word comfortless in the Greek means someone who is left desolate or bereft of any help or assistance. we do get the word ‘ orphan ‘ from it.

67 Our Lors Jesus Christ said at one point.

69 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. John 14:19

70 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:9

71 This only the Holy Spirit can produce in us. Peter tells us that God has given us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of Him.

72 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 2 Peter 1:3

73 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:4

74 From God’s standpoint ther is nothing to hinder the expression in us, of the new Life in Christ Jesus.

75 It is the work of the Holy Spirit to identify us with the life of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit came to teach us, to give courage, to give peace, to give testimony, to guide us into all Truth.

76 The Holy Spirit is God’s free Gift of Grace to us at this time. He will not be withdrawn from us, because He is to dwell with us forever.

77 Some Christians struggle with God, asking that they might receive the Holy Spirit, not realizing that He indwelt them, from the moment they were Born Again. the result of the filling of the Holy Spirit are many

78 One of these is that we receive power to do God’s Work. let us look at a few more. Galatians 5:22,23

79 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22,23
