The Politecnico Business Research Centre, within the Cittadella, is the place dedicated to cooperation in research and education between the Politecnico and industries. Spaces for offices, laboratories and industry facilities are available for this aim. ( 66 patents: 19 are co-owned by the Politecnico 12 spin-offs: the Politecnico is a shareholder 6 academic spin-offs: the Politecnico is not a shareholder, but participates with personnel, offices, etc…

The Hub is: a physical place where main actors of the Venture Capital can coexist. A place where different players can compare their investment strategies to activate common programs and to co-invest at national level. Main advantages: Stronger visibility towards the entrepreneurs community about venture capital presence and approachability. Reliability assurance towards entrepreneurs community: the VC Hub members subscribe a code-of-conduct. Its goals to triple the number of researchers engaged in ICT, from 2,000 and to create at least 50 new ICT enterprises to attract Italian and international innovative enterprises into the Piedmont area to insert numerous SMEs enter a strong acceleration phase to increase the impact of ICT on the Piedmont economy, from the current level of 5 % to 10 % to become self-supporting by 2012 the Cluster expect: It promotes the growth of the ICT District in Piemonte, in synergy with the other local players. It is the first technology district in Italy to provide central coordination in order to dialogue constantly and coherently with other districts in the world.
