Heating up to 60 °C. Addition of Isovaleric acid with a syringe. Measurement of the concentration of isovaleric acid in vapour phase by GC 24 hours after addition. Finish of the test run: Detection of traces of isovaleric acid after 24 hours (“break through”). Available conc:200µl250µl300µl350µl800µl

´Consumer Specialties | Business Line Household Care13  Zinc ricinoleates are sensitive to water hardness and may precipitate  The use of a sequesting agent like phosphonates (HEDP, DTPMP etc.) or Iminodisuccinate is highly recommended to stabilize the formulation.  Not recommended are chelators like EDTA, Polyphosphates, etc. because they inactivate the active side of the zinc in TEGO ® Sorb.  TEGO ® Sorb Products mainly remove malodour components containing either nitrogen and/ or sulfur:  Preservatives like Isothiazolinones contain sulfur and will partly inactivate the odour absorber. Isothiazolinones should not be used as a preservative TEGO ® Sorb Hints for Use
