17 LMLA “Wall of Fame” So that I could apply for a salaried position, I was inspired by my supervisor to start taking the National Management Association (NMA) Supervisory and Management Skills courses offered by Lockheed Martin Management Association (LMMA). At the time I started taking the management courses, I was a represented employee and could not join LMMA. The LMMA changed their bylaws and renamed the association to the Lockheed Martin Leadership Association (LMLA) in 2000, which allowed all employees to become members. As soon as they opened the doors for all employees, I was the first represented employee to join. I will be forever grateful to LMLA for opening the doors for all employees to gain professional development through courses, volunteering, and networking opportunities. Today, I am an associate manager over the F-22 Canopy Refurbishing Program in Marietta. LMLA has helped me to build a solid and successful leadership foundation to model personal excellence and integrity, energizing and building effective relationships with the team while holding the team accountable for delivering results to shape the future of Lockheed Martin. - Michelle Lewis, CM We Grow Leaders - Member Testimonials

18 LMLA “Wall of Fame” I heard about LMLA from a co-worker who was a member and he had told me how great the organization is and how he had benefited from being in the organization. I joined and enrolled in the Supervisory and Management Skills Program back in In 2014, I enrolled in the Foundations of Management. These courses gave me a foundation on how to become a great leader and helped me transition from an aircraft assembler to a supervisor and encouraged me to take a leadership role as a multifunctional manufacturing supervisor with Lockheed Martin in – Lee Owens We Grow Leaders - Member Testimonials
