My Cloud Project By: Jil Chang

My First Picture This picture was taken on September 29, 2009 at 6:05 pm. It was taken in front of my house, on the driveway. I think this cloud would be stratus clouds, because from where I was standing, these clouds looked pretty low. This cloud is in the “Sunset Clouds” Category

My Second Picture This picture was taken on July 23, 2012 at 2:30 pm. It was taken in New York, on the ferry, while we were heading to the Statue of Liberty. I think that these clouds would be cumulus clouds. This cloud would be in the “Vacation Clouds” category

My Third Picture This picture was taken on September 3, 2012 at 5:15 pm. It was taken at a gas station because just as my mom ran out of gas, we saw this rainbow, and took the picture with the cloudish background. I think that these clouds would be just normal stratus clouds because of their height and they are very stretched out, not wispy though. Again these clouds would be in the “Special Clouds” Category

My Fourth Picture This is my fourth picture. It was taken on August 25, 2012 at 5:10. This picture was taken on a boat in Lake Norman. We were visiting a friend’s house and thought “Hey, maybe we could go for a boat ride!”. I think that these clouds would be stratus clouds… Again, because again they are stretched out and not that puffy. They look very very low. These clouds would be in the “Special Clouds” category

My Fifth Picture We took this picture on October 5, 2010, at 6:53 pm. I took this picture while I was standing on the street, in front of my house. I think that these clouds would be stratus clouds, because they are stretched out and not really puffy… These clouds belong in the “Sunset Clouds” Category

My Sixth Picture These clouds were taken on July 22, 2012 at 10:56 am. They were taken in New Jersey while I was visiting my baby cousin. I think that these clouds would be cumulus clouds, because they look really puffy and not as high. These clouds would be in the “Vacation Clouds” Category

Last But Not Least, My Seventh Picture If you look really close in this picture, you will be able to see the small clouds. This picture was taken in Washington D.C. at the Washing Monument on July 19, 2011 at 4:04 pm. I think that these clouds would be stratus (AGAIN!!!), because they are stretched out (AGAIN!!!) and not close to being a cirrus or cumulus cloud. They look very low, again, if you look at them closely. These clouds belong in the “Vacation Clouds” Category
