Cliché Noun Def: a worn-out idea or overused expression Ex: “The new horror movie promised “never before seen scares,” really it was just full of the same old horror clichés.”

Diffident Adjective Def: lacking in self-confidence; shy Ex: The diffident student was afraid to speak in front of the class.”
