WASH Updates January 31, 2012 WASH CLUSTER PAKISTAN

Balochistan 60 hand pumps have been installed/repaired 175 technical trainings on installation, repair and maintenance of hand pumps Hygiene promotion sessions in 51 villages Improvement/ repairing of 15 water storage ponds 76 Auto-Chlorinators have been installed in Sibi, Naseerabad & Jaffarabad districts by WHO through PCRWR.

2012 scenario is based on the IDPs figures given and agreed among relevant Government authorities and UN agencies Current displaced population in KP and FATA is 104,234 families Potential new displacement in 2012: 15,000 families ( from Khyber from Orakzai) Potential returnees in 2012: 80,000 families (50,000 from Kurram including 37,000 sectarian)
