Megan She is here to request help from Longwood Circle K on election day by going around in the community of Prince Edward County putting door hangers up that will inform people of where there need to go vote and also providing transportation (they have a bus) to there polling location. When: Tuesday, November 8 th (excuses to miss any classes to work this event will be happily provided) It has been asked that we will be able to work both of the shifts that are needed and the club will receive compensation ($$$) for its help.  Shift 1: 5am – 8am  We will be working with people in the community putting up door hangers  Shift 2: 3:30pm – 7pm  We will be going to the same neighborhoods and knocking on doors with hangers still on them and providing people with rides to the polls We will be working with members of Hampden-Sydney’s Circle K as well. If we are able to get 20 members from both clubs to work both shifts we will be able to get $400 to split and if we can get 25 members we will be able to get $450 This is being held through the Dodson campaign but is non-partisan Special Guest:

On Monday, October 31 st this Halloween from 4pm to 5:30pm members from our club (Corey Black, Leah Utz, and Christopher Martinez) passed out candy to the children of Farmville. There were approximately 675 kids who flooded the Main Street with their parents, family, and friends to Trick-or-Treat in a safe environment and collect candy from businesses, fraternities, sororities, and clubs/organizations. The event was an overall success, but even with all the candy our club had we ran out before the end of the event  ! According to Chris Bolt who organized the event this event was a huge success and it will be held again next year! He also sent out a huge thanks to our club for all its help!
