Paediatric Nursing Caring for babies, children and adolescents in hospital, clinics and the community Completed stage 5 placement on the ward, enjoyed it more than I thought Different style of nursing, whole family involved in the care, not just the patient Try and make it a positive experience for the child as it may be their first hospital admission Qualifications; require bachelor of science (Nursing), RN,EN previous experience preferred, paediatric certificate in Nursing Salary; Base Rate level 1 RN $56,834-$57,597 Always a need for Paediatric Nursing, not just Australia but world wide Strengths for a Paediatric Nurse; confident, approachable, able to communicate well with children and adults, teamwork, leadership values and a positive, enthusiastic personality
