Don’t wait until you have been accepted into a college Start early – January of each year Get a PIN and use the FAFSA website Use estimates if you haven’t completed your tax return Spell your name as it appears on your SS card Be informed! Read forms, instructions and brochures Be organized. Start a financial aid file, keep copies of everything (taxes, etc.) Be sure to keep your address current with the institution you will be attending Financial Aid Phone Number
