Applications Generally, all applications for University and Technical Schools can be found online Processing should include payment via credit card. If mailed send check in care of the intending institution. Requests for LUHS transcripts to be sent to intending institution shall be made using the High School Transcript Request Form, or via the LUHS Website utilizing Docufide, Requests for Transcripts from Nicolet Area Technical College should be directed to Nicolet (a request form can be found on their website. Generally, application decisions can take anywhere from 1 week to five months, depending on the institution
Applications Many schools use as their form of communication, students with incomplete applications may be informed via regular mail or through . Questions with regard to filling out an application should be made to the High School Counselor. Letters of Recommendation should be sent with the LUHS Transcript, letters should be forwarded to the High School Counselor to ensure delivery. Some colleges use electronic recommendations via .
School Tours and Visits Most schools have specific dates and times for a school tour. Check individual school websites for this information. Some schools have orientations in the Spring, some schools hold off until summer. Preview Days are listed for the UW System in the Find Your Fit Book.
Scholarships Check with the Financial Aid Office concerning scholarship opportunities from the school that you are applying to. Some scholarship deadlines end in the Fall of Not all scholarships rely on Financial Aid information. Local Scholarship information/applications can be found on the LUHS Website or listed on a white board in the LUHS Student Services. An application for scholarships granted by individuals and civic organizations from the Lakeland Area will be available in early Students not filling out this application and returning it to Students Services will be ineligible to be considered for these scholarships.
