5 FFIEC Central Data Repository (CDR) Critical features:  relies on an open standard for conveying information to stakeholders  metadata driven using XBRL taxonomies  is easily accessed by reporting entities and by FFIEC analysts  flexible to refine and extend concepts reported, data quality standards, presentation, and instructions Expected Results:  faster exchange of data between banks and FFIEC Call Agencies  resources shared more effectively among FFIEC Call Agencies  easier accommodation of Call Report changes  long-term potential to facilitate bankers’ reuse of data among multiple regulatory and internal reporting needs  provides structure for straight-through processing

6 Project Status Approximately 9 months of testing to date Parallel test in August for June 2005 Call Report Now enrolling banks (last week enrolled approximately 750) Scheduled for implementation and use with the September 2005 Call Report
