What is Nextdoor? Nextdoor is a private, free, and secure network used by over 90,000 neighborhoods (50%+ across the US) and agencies Nextdoor members are verified residents of their neighborhood Nextdoor members can only view posts from other members within their own neighborhood (not city-wide) Residents use Nextdoor to discuss community issues, recommendations, crime and safety, or to post classifieds 2

How it works Agencies access a custom interface to post a message to all or targeted residents Residents see agency posts on their Nextdoor website or mobile app, as well as through Residents can reply to your posts, or send you a private message, creating two-way engagement Events spread the word about neighborhood watch meetings or community meet-ups 6
