Field Hockey Pink Day for Breast Cancer Research

Women’s Soccer Pink Day for Breast Cancer Research

Men's soccer team joined Alpha Kappa Psi, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Phi Omega, College Pan Hellenic, Professional Fraternity Council, and the InterFraternity Council for a special field day event to honor Kenny Garcia and raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Women's basketball team joined Head Coach Mike Eineker and his family in the annual JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) 5K walk

The Baseball team joined the “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event. Students, faculty and staff walked an on-campus mile in women’s high heel shoes to raise awareness about gender relations and sexual violence.

Women's basketball joined forces with teammate Jina Crawford and her mother Michelle in a walk for breast cancer awareness with the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Foundation.

The Ramapo College women's basketball team partnered with the John Jay to bring awareness to Pediatric Cancer. The teams, coaches and staff wore gold shoelaces to raise awareness while each team made a donation to Go4TheGoal, Lace up 4 Pediatric Cancer. To learn more about this organization please visit

Men's Volleyball participates in the Northern Regional Walk to end Alzheimer's.

Ramapo students, faculty, staff, Theta Phi Alpha, Alpha Chi Rho and SAAC took part in Wiffle Ball for Breast Cancer Research on October 28th. They raised over $2,400 for this special cause.

Members of the Ramapo College Athletic Staff and SAAC Committee donated to the Mahwah Center for Food Action prior to Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Baskets were donated along with four large boxes and 20 bags of food. They also collected $115 in gift cards for families to use. Members of the softball team wrapped gifts that will be delivered to underprivileged families this holiday season as part of the people-to-people "project joy".

Members of the men's soccer team and Rocky joined forces with the Mahwah All-Stars for a fun-filled day of soccer. The athletes worked on the basic skills of the game in coordination with the "All-Star" program designed for special needs children between the ages of 5 through 18.

Women’s Lacrosse Pink Game for Breast Cancer Research

SAAC Co Presidents, Lauren and Paul spent the day at the NCAA DIII Special Olympics in Princeton, NJ

Women’s Lacrosse team had an autism awareness game on April 9 th (Senior Day). They supported by wearing handmade autism awareness pins, signing cards that are hung in the school where the pins were made.
