Responsible for the safety of the people who live work and visit at Victoria Street Manor

Office of Fire Marshall Staffing Levels in Care Occupancies, Care & Treatment Occupancies Factors that impact staffing -degree of assistance required -number of occupants -building construction and fire protection features to control the spread of the fire -level of staff training -other actions required by staff under the fire safety plan

First 10 to 12 minutes, most critical for taking action

Confining and controlling fire is important in any type of facility…. Added staff, based on recommendation of two consultants Supervisor on-site as much as possible Moved residents with mobility issues to the first floor Stopped admissions Educated staff on fire prevention strategies
