 Situation: Everyone gets into some kind of trouble at one point in their life. Whether it is as a child-taking a cookie out of the cookie jar, or as a teenager rebelling against his/her parent, or even as an adult.  Directions: Think about a time in which you got into trouble. Compose an essay in which you describe how you got into trouble and what happened as a result. Be sure to include details that led up to the event, the event itself, and the final result. Vocabulary- write the following definitions in your notes. Situational Irony occurs when something happens is the opposite of what we would normally expect to happen or would find appropriate. Dramatic Irony the reader knows something important that some or all of the characters do not know.
