9 The College of Biblical Studies is subject to the provisions of a federal law known as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the federal law that governs release of and access to student education records. Release of student record information is not done at the College of Biblical Studies without the expressed, written consent of the student. FERPA

10 -CBS Student is the primary source of communication between CBS and students. -Certain communications may be time sensitive. -Failure to read official CBS communications sent to the students does not absolve the student from knowing and complying with the content of said communications. -It is the students’ responsibility to maintain adequate memory space in their inbox in order to ensure that all messages are received accordingly. -It is the student’s responsibility to maintain their student address for all correspondence regarding grading, course evaluations, and all other communication.

11 Purpose of Watchman: For campus closures, weather alerts, and other emergency updates. All students are automatically enrolled in CBS Watchman unless they make an election not to participate. The contact information you have provided in Sonis is automatically stored in the emergency alert system. The Watchman

12 All students should see Academic Calendar for deadlines to add or drop courses. Complete the Add/Drop Change Form Submit completed and signed form to OTR. (Be sure to indicate if receiving Financial Aid.) OtR processes the request and form is submitted to Student Financial Services for billing or adjustments. Dropping and Adding Courses

All students are responsible for the payment in full of all tuition and fees incurred. During enrollment periods students who have not met their financial obligations prior to the payment deadline will be administratively withdrawn from all registered courses and will remain responsible for any non-refundable fee charges the student incurred during the registration process. Any student owing a balance after any pre-agreed or published due date will be assessed a $50.00 late payment fee. CBS reserves the right to withhold any grades, graded work assignments or projects, transcripts (unofficial & official), certificates, diplomas and participation in commencement ceremonies from students whose financial obligations have not been fully satisfied. Holds will be placed on a student's academic record and the student will be unable to register for additional courses until the balance is paid in full. Delinquent Accounts Policy
