Welcome to INTO City University London The Teaching team wish you a very warm welcome ! You will meet a lot of people over the next week and the weeks that follow. Our Teaching Team is made up of many Teachers – subject and English, Co-ordinators and Programme Managers, a Director of Studies and an Academic Director (me). We also have an Academic Support Team, a University Placement Team, and a Learning Resource Centre / Library team. It will take time to get to know all the people you meet. If you don’t know who you need to speak to, just ask ! You will also have many things to read and remember over the next week. Please do read it all and keep it, so you can look at it again. It’s all important and much of it is important for your whole time here !

Some key things to remember … We hope you have a really great time with us, and in London ! But … remember you are here to study. You will have a lot to do in your studies, so plan your work. So much will be very new to you; so much about the ways of studying, the ways of presenting your work will be new. Study hard to improve your English, and speak English all the time – that will help with all of your studies. Remember that to help you, only English is spoken here in the Centre ! Come to all of your classes, on time – we have a strict attendance policy and take registers for all classes. Why am I saying all this ? Because we want you to have a great time here, and that means an incredibly successful time, and getting the grades that you need !
