Exam Diet and Timetable Change Arrangements

Exam Arrangements Public Holiday Monday 2 nd May – No School Whole school timetable changes on Tuesday 3 rd May On Tuesday 3 rd May (after long weekend) current S4- 6 move to modified senior class timetable for 4 weeks Exams start on Wednesday 4 th May There is no study leave – (except the day of an exam) Pupils are expected to be in classes where they still have outstanding coursework or an exam still to sit

Senior Class timetable 10 assigned slots per week (5 doubles) for every subject Day before exam extra classes offered in that subject National 3, 4 and 5 pupils attend until course work complete National 5, Higher and Adv. Higher attend until exam Pupils choose the classes they wish to attend from the suite that is offered If there is no class you wish to attend, private study in Canteen available

What happens if I have no exams left or ages before my next exam? At Week 3 of the exam diet (19 th May) the subjects who have now had their exam will offer “preparation” classes for next year These sessions will introduce pupils to the topics, skills and content that will be covered over the next year Pupils studying 2 or less National 5’s are being offered work experience – Mrs Clark organising

Attendance Monitoring At 9.05am every day, all current S4-6 pupils are required to register with their Guidance Teacher and Depute Head in the Assembly Hall All teachers delivering classes will also be taking period by period registers Pupils not attending school will be phoned by PTG / DHT and attendance requested

Change of Timetable On Tuesday 5 th May the whole school timetable changes Current S1-3 will start their new courses immediately Current S4-6 will move to modified Senior Class timetable On Monday 30th May S4 and 5 will move into new timetable (assemblies held at 9.05 on that day) Pupils with outstanding exams beyond this will return to school the day after their last exam Friday 3 rd June is current S6 official last day
