January – March 2014 TrainingCourse OverviewStart Date Art groupAn art class for all abilities to learn how to draw and paint using different mediums and techniques. Also, have a go at wood turning and pyrography and produce beautiful wooden items. Weekly sessions – £1.00 per week towards materials Every Thursday – Church Lane Community Centre Sewing class Repair and recycle This course will teach you how to: repair clothing such as zips and tears; turn up hems; recycle clothes; learn simple sewing techniques; and make new clothes or household items. Weekly sessions – £1.00 per week towards materials Every Friday – Church Lane Community Centre ESOL English for speakers of other languages This course is designed to help you understand English if English is not your first language. This is an opportunity to work towards a nationally recognised qualification.
