Copy the following words/definitions into your notebook: 1.Homo Sapiens – The primate species to which modern humans belong. 2.Fossil – remain or trace of an organism of a past age, such as a skeleton or leaf imprint, preserved in the earth's crust. 3.Nomads – A group of people who have no permanent home and move (according to the seasons) from place to place in search of food, water, and land. 4.Paleolithic Age – “Old Stone Age”. The time before the Agricultural Revolution when humans were less advanced. 5.Neolithic Revolution – “New Stone Age”. The time period of and after the Agricultural Revolution when people settled in one place and domesticated plants/animals.
