TA Checklist: Before Testing Attend training Preview the Test Administration Manual Introduce students to practice items Provide paper, pencils and, scrap paper Confirm any small group arrangements Remove/cover bulletin boards or posters Place “Testing: Do Not Disturb” sign on door Ensure ready access to any printed test material 3

TA Checklist: During Testing Ensure 1 test administrator is present for every 20 students Ensure students can log in to tests Maintain security Contact School Test Coordinator (STC) with test related issues or questions Follow specific directions for administration Make sure no electronic devices are present Ensure students are working and understand how to navigate through the test Notify STC with any technical issues 4

STC and TA Checklist: After Testing Collect all materials from each student after each session Move students who need more time to a predetermined location Follow local transcribing rules for braille, large print, or scribe Collect all student test login tickets Notify STC of any test irregularities STC notify DAC of any test irregularities 5

Test Structure Three Content Area Domains – Math – Writing – Reading Seven Test Sessions – Math 1 and 2 – Writing 1 and 2 – Reading 1, 2 and 3 (Read/Write) 6

Passwords Type of PasswordUtilizationEntered By Student Password*Used to log the student into the domain specific tests (e.g. Math) Student Session Access CodeUsed to log the student into the appropriate session of the test (e.g. Math 2) Student Proctor Password**Used to log the student into the appropriate session (section) of the test if the student began the session, paused for longer than 20 minutes or was inactive for 60 minutes, and needs to resume the session. Proctor * Student test password is NOT case sensitive ** Proctor password must be kept confidential. NOTE: PROCTOR PASSWORD SHOULD ONLY BE USED TO REOPEN A TEST SESSION ON THE SAME DAY 7
