Lesson two Understand the work and the importance of the work of a local or international charity Activities In groups, research the work of a particular charity: Find out when it was started, by whom and why Find out where it carries out its work and who does the work Find out how much it costs to keep the organisation going each year Find out about the type of work your organisation does Find out how successful it has been and what else needs to be done
