What is APAN? 3 Web-based, non.mil collaboration platform Developed to foster information and knowledge sharing between the United States Department of Defense and non-DoD entities Available to any user with an internet connection

APAN History and Governance US Dept. of Defense (DISA) was directed to develop a Defense Enterprise Computing Center (DECC) to host an Unclassified Information Sharing Service (UISS) for global use US Dept. of Defense Chief Information Officer (DOD-CIO) memo designated the All Partners Access Network (APAN) as the baseline service for UISS UISS funded by DISA (FY12-FY17) so it is free to all users DISA’s Multi National Information Systems Office (MNIS) designated as UISS Program Manager UISS Application Services Provider (ASP) provides:  Managment out of Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC) at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii  ASP provides 24 hour help desk, knowledge management assistance, training, customer engagement, exercise & crisis support  A Customer Engagement Specialist is assigned as liaison support for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) events – Lara Coutinho for Ebola Response Network.
