Before using the Computer, Projector, microphone..Check connection of all power supplies Step 1: If power fails , contact Property Management Office for help. (Tel: , ext 8110.) Before Class Starts Power on the projector Press the RED “POWER” button on remote controller. Step 2

 Power on the computer Projector screen and computer monitor will display the same image. Step 3 Step 4 Switch the power switch to the “ON” position and test the microphone.

Classroom IT Equipment IT is embedded with a central control unit, PC, amplifier, projector and Microphone.

Before Class Starts Step 1 Open the drawer on your right to locate the Control Panel.

 Please do not 【 Power on 】 and 【 Power Off 】 the system quickly. Wait for at least 2 minutes before the system(PC and projector) turns on/off properly.  You can also press the power button of the PC, to turn on/off the control system; Important Notice

 Using mobile devices ( USB Disk etc) Please plug in the device ( USB Disk etc) After Microsoft Windows is started.  USB port can be found on the desk as following. Important Notice

Open the small door as below, the DVD Rom of the PC can be found. Press the button and insert the DVD/ CD.

May I use my laptop in classroom? Important Notice please be prepared with Network Cable, VGA cable and audio cable in advance and connect them correctly.

1) Open the door, and the PC can be found ; 2) Press power button , Power on the computer ; Before Class (2)(2) (1)(1)

1) Power on computer and press three keys (“ctrl+alt+delete”) simultaneously, then appears login interface ; 2) Input UIC account and password to enter the system For example, account: Login account: key in sample ; Before Class (1)(1)(2)(2)

1) Microphone is at the left side of the desk ; 2) Please switch on Microphone; 3) Please switch off after use; In Class (2)(2) (1)(1)

1) Make sure PC have been turned on before using projector. 2) Take the remote controller at the left side of the desk and press the RED “POWER” button on it ; 3) Please power off after use ; In Class (2)(2) (1)(1)

1) Press [DOWN] to lower the projection screen, it will display the image. 2) Press [UP] to rise projection screen without using the projector. In Class (2)(2) (1)(1)

1) There are cables for connecting laptop on the desk ; 2) After connecting laptop, choose the corresponding source using projector remote control (eg. HDMI/Com2) In Class 1HDMI Cable 2VGA Cable 3Audio Cable

Important Notice Q: save some data in the classroom computer? You may save data temporarily in the desktop (D:\Personal\Desktop).  data saved on Desktop will be delelted after the computer restarts. ( due to the auto restore feature )  Please use personal storage device, such as USB disk, when you need to save important data. (plug in After System is started. 4.1 Computer system:

Important Notice 4.1before new class In order to prevent the computer/USB disk from virus, you may restart the computer before class (all previous stored files will be automatically deleted due to the auto restore feature of the computer) 4.2The computer will shut down automatically if there are no actions for 60 minutes.

Important Notice 4.5Settings of the projector  Please do not modify the parameters settings of the projector.  Please shut down the projector properly. Do not attempt to turn the machine on and off more than once per 5 minutes.  In order to ensure the projector brightness and get better effect, you may turn off some lights in the classroom.

Special equipment or e-learning material Play Video/Sound file Reading or access to the untested, damage, piracy or regional restrictions of reading media such as CD/DVD are not guaranteed. DVDs or CDs purchased from abroad may be unable to be played due to region codes, It is suggested to use the DVDs purchased in China Mainland.
