ENVIRONMENTAL POLLOTION

ENVİRONMENTAL POLLUTİON The environment is the surrounding where the livings spend their lives and relations. Air, water and soil are the physical component, people, animals, plants and the other microorganisms are the biological components of the environment. lives and relations. Air, water and soil are the physical component, people, animals, plants and the other microorganisms are the biological components of the environment. Environmental pollution is a big problem. Environmental pollution occurs because of the Man. Nevertheless obstructions of this is responsibility of Man. The world can be annihilated If the environmental pollution isn't stoped. It's sufficient for us to take measures a little in order to hinder. The Classification of environmental pollution 1. Physical pollution 2. Chemical pollution 3. Biological pollution

Air pollution is the introduction of chemicals, particulate matter or biological materials that cause harm or discomfort to humans or other living organisms or damages the natural environment, into the atmosphere. The effect of air pollution on human health are created by inhaling high does of harmful materials in atmosphere. There is a correlation between lung disease related deaths and inhaling the air polluted The extent to which an individual is harmed by air population usually depends on the duration of exposure to the damaging chemicals...

Many people spend large portion of time indoors they suffer also from the effect of indoor air pollution.there are many sources of indoor air pollution; Many people spend large portion of time indoors they suffer also from the effect of indoor air pollution.there are many sources of indoor air pollution; Crowdedness Crowdedness Products for personal care and hobbies Products for personal care and hobbies Products for household cleaning Products for household cleaning electrical appliances electrical appliances Tobacco smoke Tobacco smoke A lack of ventilation indoors concentrates air pollution where people often spend the majority at time.Exposure to this pollution results in headache, dizziness, irritation of the eyes, nose, fatigue and throat.. Acid Rains Acid rain is caused by emissions of sulfur and nitrogen compounds that react in the atmosphere to produce acids. They have effects on the chemical structure and biological conditions of soil. Acid rain is caused by emissions of sulfur and nitrogen compounds that react in the atmosphere to produce acids. Water pollution is the contamination of water caused by harmful contaminants leading to any chemical, physical or biological change in the quality of water. The main sources are the discharge pollution factories, industrial plants, sewage treatment plants, fertilizer, chemical pesticides in farming, discharge of hot water from power plants and soil erosion. All types of water pollution are harmful to the livings and non-livings Preventing water pollution: The ways of conserving water The technical preventing ways of keeping our waters clean

River Pollution River pollution :Many towns and factories are built near rivers so that they can use water from the river. River pollution can make rivers smell. River pollution kills water plants and animals. Polluted water also carries diseases. When animals drink the water, they may get diseases which can kill them. People can even get these diseases by eating the infected animal River pollution :Many towns and factories are built near rivers so that they can use water from the river. Soil contamination is caused by the presence of man-made chemicals or other alteration in the natural soil environment. This type of contamination typically arises from the rupture of underground storage tanks, application of pesticides, percolation of contaminated surface water to subsurface strata, oil and fuel dumping, leaching of wastes from landfills or direct discharge of industrial wastes to the soil. Soil pollution can lead to water pollution if toxic chemicals leach into ground water or if contaminated run off reaches streams lakes, or oceans.

There are many different ways that soil can become polluted, such as: Seepage from a landfill Seepage from a landfill Discharge of industrial waste into the soil Discharge of industrial waste into the soil Percolation of contaminated water into the soil Percolation of contaminated water into the soil Rupture of underground storage tanks Rupture of underground storage tanks Excess application of pesticides, herbicides or fertilizer Excess application of pesticides, herbicides or fertilizer Solid waste seepage Solid waste seepage

Noise Pollution Noise pollution is displeasing human-, animal- or machine-created sound that disrupts the activity or balance of human or animal life. A common form of noise pollution is from transportation, principally motor vehicles. Noise pollution is displeasing human-, animal- or machine-created sound that disrupts the activity or balance of human or animal life. A common form of noise pollution is from transportation, principally motor vehicles. The source of most noise worldwide is transportation systems, motor vehicle noise, but also including aircraft noise and rail noise.Poor urban planning may give rise to noise pollution, since side-by-side industrial and residential buildings can result in noise pollution in the residential area. Light Pollution Light pollution is a side effect of industrial civilization. Its sources include building exterior and interior lighting, advertising, commercial properties, offices, factories, streetlights, and illuminated sporting venues. It is most severe in highly industrialized, densely populated areas of North America, Europe, and Japan and in major cities in the Middle East and North Africa like Cairo, but even relatively small amounts of light can be noticed and create problems. Like other forms of pollution (such as air, water, and noise pollution) light pollution causes damage to the environment.

Recycle Recycling involves processing used materials into new products in order to prevent waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reduce energy usage, reduce air pollution and water pollution by reducing the need for "conventional" waste disposal, and lower greenhouse gas emissions as compared to virgin production.Recycling is a key component of modern waste management and is the third component of the "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" waste hierarchy. Recyclable materials include many kinds of glass, paper, metal, plastic, textiles, and electronics. We have to do the recycling to avoid the environmental pollution.

WE MUST PROTECT OUR ENVİRONMENT...
