Environmental Pollution -any addition of undesirable substances to the soil and air, and both surface and groundwater by human activities -can spread far distances and be impossible to clean up

Pollution 1.Septic Tanks -all solid and liquid (toilet) wastes pumped from homes 2.Underground Storage Tanks -gasoline (fuels) from service stations 3.Landfills -decomposing garbage (leachate) from dump sites

Pollution 4.Local Industry -emissions from factories react with water vapour (acid precipitation) 5.Livestock Wastes -Bacteria (coliforms) flows into creeks and rivers 6.Household Wastes -everyday products (chemicals) improperly disposed
