Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Kerala Aum Sri Sai Ram What Next?

Sai Deep – What next? To decide what next, we should know where are we now. With the infinite grace of our Swami, we have completed stages 1, 2 and 3. SAI DEEP – District’s Enthusiastic Energetic Person Nomination of District In Charges. Stage 1 Nomination of Wingwise In Charges. 3 gents, 3 ladies Stage 2 Identifying members and their grouping with leaders. Stage 3

Sai Deep – What next? Sai Deep Coordination Committee District President District Coordinator Sai Deep District In Charges State level Office Bearers from district Group Leaders Meeting of Coordination Committee 4 to 5 pm on the day of District level meeting. District In charges of Sai Deep should invite and inform all concerned.

What Next? SAI DEEP – District’s Enthusiastic Energetic Person 1) Personal 2) As a group Now, we have to move in 2 directions.

Sai Deep – What next? 1. Personal Sadhana  Japa  Dhyana  Archana  Swadhyaya  Likhitha Japam Concrete and uninterrupted scheme for personal sadhana.

Sai Deep – What next? 1. Personal Sadhana Increase & improve day by day Increase = Quantity Improve = Quality Sadhana should be heartificial.

Sai Deep – What next? 1. Personal Sadhana Every member should study at least 1 book from Sai literature every month.

 How to become a member of a group? Any active member of the organisation who is ready to follow the guidelines can become a member of Sai Deep.  Each group will be having 10 members with a leader. These should be organised area wise for meeting regularly without any distance problem.  Members can opt for any of the 3 wings (Spiritual/Service/Education) according to their aptitude. Sai Deep – What next? 2. As a Group

 Common activities should be attended by all members of all groups. Example: Study Circle, Sadhana camp, Service, House contact programs etc. Sai Deep – What next? 2. As a Group Why House contact programs are important? We can see 3 types of devotees. Very active and attending programs Devotees, but not attending any programs Devotees, who were attending earlier but not now

 By a simple example, we can realise the importance of House contact program.  Imagine, 1 Samithi has 100 devotee houses surrounding.  Out of this, 40 or 50 alone may be regularly attending bhajan. Sai Deep – What next? 2. As a Group  Among this, less than 10 may be the number of devotees still involved in Samithi activities. i.e., Only 10% of the total number of devotees (100) in an area.  What will be our strength if we can increase this by 40 or 50%?  This is our goal through House contact programs. Why House contact programs are important?

Sai Deep – What next? 2. As a Group Activities under Spiritual wing  Arrangement of Study circle  Organise Sadhana camp  Increase number of participants in the above two items.  Maximum Grihasanthi bhajan. Spreading Nama smarana movement.  House contact – Every member is to contact at least 3 devotee houses in a week.

Sai Deep – What next? 2. As a Group Activities under Spiritual wing  7 days Bhajan – This is to be arranged in maximum devotee houses. Bhajan can be of a shorter duration with family members – A family that prays together, stays together.  Weekly once Bhajan – Some areas and houses should be located, where we can have weekly bhajan, inviting the people around. Later these could be developed into Bhajan centers.

Sai Deep – What next? 2. As a Group Activities under Spiritual wing  Spreading Veda – In schools, temples etc.  Temple oriented programs – Bhajan, Satsang, regular Study circle, Pradakshina bhajan etc.  Swadhyaya – One book in a month. All members are to do this & motivate all devotees to do this for personal sadhana. Every month this should be evaluated by the Group In Charges.

Sai Deep – What next? 2. As a Group Activities under Education wing  Strengthening. How? By starting regular study circle for Bal vikas Gurus & training courses for them, including new Gurus.  Expansion – By converting every Sai sister as a Bal vikas guru.  We have to start and strengthen 4 types of Bal vikas centers:  Regular  Rural  Urban  School

Sai Deep – What next? 2. As a Group Activities under Education wing Educare  Sessions for Students, Teachers and Parents.  Summer Camps for school students during vacation.  Essay Competition – July 2016  Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini  Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Jyothi – Youth initiated programme – 108 Schools in Kerala.  Disaster Management Awareness Camp – For members of NSS & NCC.

Sai Deep – What next? 2. As a Group Activities under Education wing Educare  Mini course for Students – Mini course for College students,  ‘Personality development through Value education’.  Value Clubs in Schools.  Service Clubs in colleges.  One member is to organise one program in an educational institution every month.

Sai Deep – What next? 2. As a Group Activities under Service wing  Family Level – There may be interested people who are ready to serve the society but who are not our members, we can introduce the program of fistful or daily food packets for them.  Samithi level – Organise 1 service activity per month.  District level – Arrange 1 service activity every quarter.

Sai Deep – What next? 2. As a Group Activities under Service wing  Training for Sevadal  Training to as many devotees as possible to transform them as active workers.  Effective role in SSSVIP  Seva in adopted schools

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) SAI DEEP

Sai Deep – FAQs?  Is this a separate Group? No. It is not a group, but a movement, silently strengthening the organisation.  Is it parallel to the existing System? No. This is only a catalyst to make activities effective and faster.  What will be the role of office bearers? All can become In charges or members of the groups, provided they can follow Sai Deep guidelines.  Is this may lead to conflicts at the Unit level? No. The role is complementary. Convenors will be assisted to have more Seva, more Study circles, more Sadhana camps, more Educational activities with active participation.

Sai Deep – FAQs?  Is there any special status for the members? No, there will be responsibilities and they will go more internally.  So many groups we have formed earlier, why a new one? One rock may not be broken by a single stroke – 10 or 18 times – but each stroke make some changes – we more ready to break – Each groups failed to achieve goal not because of weakness of the programme, but we failed to have consistency and a longer vision. Failure enriched us with better experience. Why Parthi Yathra?  Availability of resources persons.  Seeking Divine blessings before starting this project.  Meeting of all at one place – Parthi – the holiest among all the holiest places.

Sai Deep – FAQs?  What is the nature of reporting? Group In Charges are expected to give monthly report to District In Charges – Separate report for Gents and Mahilas. District In Charges are requested to consolidate this and it to DP, DC and Biju GP (State Documentation In Charge). Biju will compile this and the Monthly Report to SP and SVP. He will also proactively alert the districts to get reports on time.  Is there any Sai Deep activity? No. No banner, no inauguration. Whether Sai Deep members of one Samithi can work under another Samithi?  Normally, no need for this because every samithi will be having 10 members. If this is not there, members of two Samithis can work together for both Samithis.

Sai Deep – FAQs?  Can gents & mahilas work together? They can have combined Sai Deep meetings, but will have to work separately.  While doing activities, what should be the nature of interaction with office bearers? All the District level In Charges of Sai Deep are expected to inform details of all meetings and activities to DP & DC. At the Samithi level, Group In Charges are to inform details of all programs to local Samithi Convenor well in advance, thereby ensure their participation.  Inactive after becoming a member? He/she will have no place in Sai Deep. Is it single man’s decision or group decision?  At the district level, the Coordination Committee will decide.  At the local level the Groups will decide after necessary discussion.

Sai Deep – FAQs?  Can any one stop the activities entrusted under Sai Deep? Big No.  Can a Group have more than 10 Members? Yes, if it is less than 15. Above 15 members, please create another Group.  Can two Groups have meeting together? Yes  Who will be giving guidelines and clarifications? The State President will be the final word on all matters related to Sai Deep. Are the Groups are watertight compartments?  No. Only for best results, we have to make grouping according to their aptitude.  As Swami said, ‘Harmonium is to given to the one who can play it, and not tabla'.

Conclusion  In one word, Sai Deep is for making everyone available for Sai Mission. Swami wants not efficiency, but availability.  Sai Deep will help everyone to realise the innate divinity because it is for deep study of Swami’s teachings.  Awareness about Sai Mission to maximum people will be another important achievement.  It is ‘Deep’ and ‘Deeeep’ – light for all and deep understanding.
