Next Steps  Lobbying UZ administration to fully incorporate the Department into UZ structures  UTLC: cede activities  Resistance from other UZ faculties  Implement UZCHS needs assessment results  Develop Multidisciplinary Skills Laboratory under the Department of HPE  Interdisciplinary training  Lobbying for compulsory Postgraduate Diploma in HPE for all newly recruited lecturers before tenure

Question for Thought  How does one entice junior and senior faculty to embark on postgraduate training in HPE?(Post grad. Dip. MPhil, DPhil) MPhil…)  Should it be compulsory for all HPEducators to hold some basic qualification in Health Professions Education??
