Why do people take pictures of significant events for family and friends?

“Fifth Grade Autobiography” After reading the poem together, close your eyes and visualize “this photograph” Dove describes in the poem. Reread the poem, marking the text to identify the images Dove uses to convey the picture.

Let’s Draw! Recreate the photograph described In “Fifth Grade Autobiography.” Base your drawing on the images you highlighted as you marked the text. Write a brief reflection on how the imagery works toward creating a picture in your mind.
