Why would we want to do this? Acts 6:3 “... who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom.” Acts 6:8 “Now Stephen, a man full of God's grace and power, did great wonders and miraculous signs among the people.”

Why would we want to do this? Acts 7:51-53 “And you continue, so bull-headed! Calluses on your hearts, flaps on your ears! Deliberately ignoring the Holy Spirit, you're just like your ancestors. Was there ever a prophet who didn't get the same treatment? Your ancestors killed anyone who dared talk about the coming of the Just One. And you've kept up the family tradition—traitors and murderers, all of you. You had God's Law handed to you by angels—gift-wrapped!—and you squandered it!”

Why would we want to do this? Acts 7:58 “Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.” Acts 9:13-14 Ananias protested, "Master, you can't be serious. But after the disciples had gathered around him, he got up and went back into the city. The next day he and Barnabas left for Derbe.”

Why wouldn’t we want to do this? Philippians 1:12-14 “Now I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”
