Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development For one picture describe what it may have been like before, identify causes and predict what the picture could lead to.

Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss Why should we protect the soil? What might happen if the soil becomes contaminated or infertile? Predict what might happen to the soil if farming becomes mechanised and suggest reasons for a positive or negative impact on human society.

Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels Make a list of films or songs that promote either peace or a sense or moral/ethical justice. E.g.: – The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas – Blood Diamond – Kite Runner What message does each film give?

Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalise the global partnership for sustainable development What skills must an individual have in order to be a successful partner within an organisation? List factors that might limit the success of partnerships. How can limitations for great global partnerships be overcome?
