As many are aware, we have exciting changes in the works for the contract system – namely online employee signatures! We are currently working with ITS in a production pilot where a small number of departments have switched to online employee signatures for the months of January and February.
During this test period you will notice some changes to the contract system, specifically: Some contract language has been updated which in some cases will result in a 3-page contract rather than 2 (obviously when online signature is fully implemented, there will not be a need to print)
When printing contracts, another filter (Date Employee Signed) has been provided
Visually, you’ll notice a new “Employee Signed” field on the screen
The contract status (ie. Awaiting L1 Approval; or Approved) now has a new “Employee Signed” status
Employees will receive the following if they do not have an active Employee Portal Congratulations, Your Contract/Timesheet Authorization has been approved and is awaiting signature. To sign, please activate your Campus ID through my.brocku.ca (portal). Click the Activate My Account link, use your Employee Number and your Date of Birth (YYYYMMDD) to activate. Once activated the Campus ID will grant access to my.brocku.ca. On the first use of my.brocku.ca, you will be prompted to provide a new password and optionally create security questions. This new password will then allow use of: my.brocku.ca the wireless network at Brock computers located within the ITS labs and Library If you forget your password, it can be reset at the ITS HelpDesk by providing appropriate identification or if you have provided security questions, you can reset the password yourself. Your Employee Number is : Once you have completed the activation process, your Brock account will be active within 48 hours. All contract signature reminders will go to this with the subject of 'Contract and/or Timesheet Authorization - Employee Signature Required'. This will provide a link to the document needing your signature. To access your Brock account, go to mailbox.brocku.ca. Enter the Address assigned to you during account activation (for the User Name) along with the password that you chose.mailbox.brocku.ca To sign contracts immediately, go to my.brocku.ca, log onto the Portal, click the My Work tab, click Brock DB - Menu (within My Links channel), click the Employee Access folder and select HRC_ContractApp.my.brocku.ca
Employees will receive the following if they have an active Employee Portal Congratulations. Your Contract/Timesheet Authorization has been approved. Please use the link below to complete and sign the form. Your Brock Account must be activated before attempting to access this form. If your account is not currently activated, a separate will be sent outlining instructions for activation. View Contract

When employees sign They can upload their banking information, TD1 (federal and provincial), and any work entitlement information online and Payroll will process accordingly They can also view/print their current and past contracts and t/s authorizations
