Gasunie is one of the biggest gas infrastructure companies in Europe. Within the company, we give safety the highest priority; it forms the basis of our license to operate. We abide by the strictest safety, health and environmental standards, both for our own employees, external contractors and the surroundings. Gasunie’s safety policy is thus characterised by a proactive approach which is designed to prevent accidents, incidents and hazardous situations.
At every Gasunie location, it must be clear in an instant what hazardous situations could arise and what emergency procedures must be put in place. The emergency exits must also be clearly visible. Good health and safety indicators can prevent unclear, annoying and even dangerous situations. Health and safety indicators (H&S indicators) make an important contribution to safe working practices and to welfare at work. Each employee (both Gasunie in-house staff and external contractors) must therefore be aware of H&S indicators and abide by them. You must never start work without the express permission of the site supervisor. Health and safety signs
