Preliminary meta-research When you research a matter totally unknown to you, then starting could be tricky. Find an expert! Always a good idea, but It may be hard to find an expert because you do not know what type of expertise you need Luckily you are taking this workshop and you will learn that whenever you need to research mergers, these are the best databases: MSCI GMI analyst (for ESG data) S&P Net Advantage; ThomsonONE Strategize: If you want primary sources, What type? Research Question 2: A federal study on a mysterious noise that vexes Windsor, Ont. residents is pointing fingers across the Canada-U.S. border at the blast furnaces of an American steel mill. The locals call the nuisance the “Windsor Hum,” a periodic pulsating, vibrating noise that has bedeviled residents for some time. They would like to sue and stop the noise. What is your strategy?
