Atopic-dermatitis Is a long-term skin disease that involves itchy and scaly rashes.
How do you get it? Similar to an allergy, it is due to a hypersensitivity reaction in the skin.
What happens to the skin? The skin swells and inflaminates.
Does the body try to fix itself? Yes, the disease usually is outgrown by early adulthood from having it as early as the ages of 2-6 months.
What medicines are needed? Creams and ointments may be used monthly to stop the itching and will help heal the skin.
