A Revelation of the Believer’s Authority In this Series…we have discussed: a)A Revelation of the Realm of God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), angels, archangels, 4 worshiping beings, cherubim, seraphim and the Third Heaven. b)A Revelation of the Realm of the enemy and all his fallen beings. c)Today I would like to go into the Believer’s Authority and what this means for you and what you can do with this authority. How you are to interact with the unseen world.

A Revelation of the Believer’s Authority I.Blessings of God’s Authority - Because of God’s authority, Jesus gave this blessing of His Peace…  “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:33 NKJV  The blessing requires that you are “in Christ” which means to be a Believer Born-Again by the Holy Spirit and living for and in Jesus.  Being filled with the Holy Spirit  And recognize that Jesus has overcome all.

A Revelation of the Believer’s Authority …in the Amplified Bible:  “ I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” AMP John 16:33

A Revelation of the Believer’s Authority II.God’s Complete Authority - God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) has the complete and ultimate authority in all three realms…heaven, earth and hell. a)And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Matthew 28:18 b)For by Him (Father God with the Son and the Holy Spirit) all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. Colossians 1:16 c)Philippians 2:9-10 …that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth…

A Revelation of the Believer’s Authority With what this says and with what this means is: a)That God whom we serve has all authority in all three Realms…Heaven, Earth and Hell. b)That if you are born again, when you speak in the Authority of the Name of Jesus, things in the spirit realm begin to happen! c)That you can pray with great Authority. d)That you can have greater faith in your prayers. e)That you can pull down strongholds.

A Revelation of the Believer’s Authority III.Delegated Authority now to you and All Believers - Mark 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; Mark 16:18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." … Mark 16:20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

A Revelation of the Believer’s Authority IV.You have been given “delegated authority” or Power of Attorney because of these reasons: a.Jesus came and destroyed the power of the enemy. I John 3:8 b.Jesus destroyed and spoiled the principalities and powers of the enemy. Col 2:15 c.Jesus destroyed him who had the power of death that is the enemy. Heb. 2:14 d.Jesus has been given a Name above every name Phil. 2:9,10

A Revelation of the Believer’s Authority IV.You have been given “delegated authority” or Power of Attorney in the earth: e.Jesus gave us dominion. Eph. 1:22-23 Matt. 28:19 f.Jesus wants us to take our place as “conquerors”. Col. 1:24 g.Jesus keeps weapons of the enemy from coming near us. Isaiah 54:17 h. If something gets through, Jesus has all power and authority to heal you. Isaiah 53:4,5 and Matt. 8:16,17 i.Jesus gave you power and authority over all the power of the enemy. Luke 10:19

A Revelation of the Authority of the Believer IV.You have been given “delegated authority” or Power of Attorney in the earth: j.Jesus set you free from the curse of the Law. Rom. 5:10-17 k.The enemy is defeated by Jesus Christ and now is “under your feet”. Romans 16:20

A Revelation of the Believer’s Authority V.What Does This All Mean to you and me? 1.You have open access to heaven any time to come boldly to the throne of grace. You can call upon heaven for good things - a)To approach the throne of God boldly. b)To have your sins forgiven any time. c)For resources in the Name of Jesus. d)For blessing your family and others e)Call upon the Lord for angelic help 2.Now that you know about this Authority, your faith needs to grow and you need to practice and use your faith to see things happen!

A Revelation of the Believer’s Authority V.What Does This All Mean? 3.You can take up the authority in Jesus Name against the enemy. Use It! a)Fight the enemy. Eph. 6:12 b)Exercise authority over the enemy to bind him, to break his stronghold over someone. Matt. 16:18 c)To apply the Blood of Jesus to yourself or someone which repels the enemy. I John 1:7; Heb. 12:24 d)To demolish the works of the enemy in pieces Jeremiah 23:29 e)To command healing – spiritually, emotionally, and physically

A Revelation of the Believer’s Authority V.What Does This All Mean? 3. You have been given Delegated Authority in Jesus Name. Now Rise Up as Strong Believers and Use It! 4.Praise the LORD!!!!!
