 Are you artistic?  Do you have a creative eye?  Do you have a background in graphic design software?  We need your talents!  Individual and group talent welcome…..creativity happens with teamwork!

 A new logo / brand helps define an organization and clearly plays a role in establishing credibility and economic value for attracting new consumers, donors and partnering relationships  Seeking continuity amongst agency as a whole  Sheer size of service area allows us to “AFFECT the face of Mental Health / Behavioral Health Services in the state of Texas.  We are uniquely situated in a Frontier / Rural region with many innovative programs designed for effecting positive change with the population served.  Visual representation will provide emotional connection  Expansion of programming (1115 Waiver)  Establish brand name (Leader of Behavioral Health Services)  Establish credibility / need to be recognizable in the 19 counties that we serve.  There is a perception gap (formerly state) we need to reconnect stakeholders.

 A graphic that symbolizes who we are  Colors are important (seeking maximum three color design)  A graphic that ties who Hill Country represents  Gives “visual impression” of our agency Must be representative of our MISSION STATEMENT…. “Promoting Independence, Community Integration, and Recovery.“ … And Our Values  We are responsible first and foremost to the people we serve.  We treat all people with respect and dignity.  We foster an environment of integrity and trust.  Responsible and creative use of resources allows us to provide the most effective and efficient services possible.  We value personal uniqueness and acknowledge that people share needs, rights, desires, and capabilities.  We understand our responsibility to educate people and maximize learning opportunities.  With information and support, people have the opportunity to make informed personal choices and become more self-reliant.  We recognize the importance of, and foster, family involvement in peoples' lives.  We operate in partnership with the community, appreciating its uniqueness and strength.  We strive for excellence, using continuous quality improvement.  Quality is linked to customer satisfaction - both ultimately measured by our ability to meet the individual requirements of people we serve.

 Encompasses the services we offer  Encompasses the name of our organization  Must be culturally inclusive  Represents an emotional connection (people)  Keep in mind “non-profit”  Think “big” no personal agendas  Design will be used for all brochures, t-shirts, company letterhead, etc.  You or your Team will be the stage setter for new “Brand Image”

 Logo must be adaptable and editable  Professional look  Clean and simple  Remember it’s not only the logo and the brand colors….it is the end-game. The brand (logo) is the emotional connection between stakeholders and our agency. Our responsibility is to live the brand (our logo) and make it meaningful to our consumers, employees stakeholders.

 Participate Independently OR as a Team  Preferred Format (s).jpg ( publisher is okay) Adobe Illustrator.ai or.eps file extensions Photoshop format.psd file  Size: Minimum 3-4 inches wide, 6” is PREFERRED  Resolution: Minimum 300 dpi – 600 is PREFERRED  TIP: Keep logo very simple design, not too much detail, not too many colors as it is very difficult to re-produce on materials such as ball caps, t-shirts, etc.  Address for Submission:
