BIRD WS / 2 Workshop on Future Internet: Business Innovation and Regulation Challenges 2008  Scope of the Workshop Address impact of Society, Business, and Governance & Regulation on success of Future Internet Any new technology, no matter how excellent, can only succeed in the market if it satisfies the needs of current or potential future users When Internet, telecommunications and M2M communications merge towards the Networks of the Future the required minimum set of regulatory constraints must be defined Research on networking technologies for the Future Internet needs to be accompanied by research on the context of its intended usage Outline the non-technical areas in the context of Future Internet technologies Enable discussion on non-technical driver results with an external audience  Industry, operators, public authorities and academia speakers cover technical as well as non-technical areas
