Dress Code: Spring Fashion Review REMINDER: We are going to Lagoon on May 19. All dress code rules still apply at Lagoon.

Lagoon-A-Beach Lagoon-A-Beach will be closed, so there will not be swimming. There is no need to bring a swimming suit.

School Dress Standards As warmer weather approaches, you may be tempted to wear things that are not appropriate for our learning environment. So, let’s review a few things for spring weather and the Lagoon activity on May 19, In order to qualify for Lagoon you must have all your fines and fees paid, and pay for the bus no later than Monday May 16, You will buy your own ticket to Lagoon a the gate at a cost of $33/person.

Lace shirts with tank tops underneath are not acceptable for school. There must be a cap sleeve shirt (to the shoulders) or t-shirt underneath it for it to be acceptable. The same rules apply at Lagoon during the school activity.

T-shirts with open backs that show bra straps are not acceptable for school. Underwear needs to be UNDER your clothes. There must be a t-shirt underneath this type of open-backed shirt for it to be acceptable.

Low-cut shirts are not allowed. You must wear a t-shirt under them. Low hanging tank tops underneath do not fix the problem. Males may not wear tank tops or open muscle shirts to school or Lagoon. Modest dress is the best!

Sunglasses and headphones are not acceptable in class. Leave those in your book bag, at home, or locker! Remember: loose items may fall off of you on some rides at Lagoon.

Short shorts are not acceptable for school, school activities, or Lagoon Day. Keep those at home. However, shorts that extent to the mid-thigh may be worn. Dress appropriately for spring weather (last year it rained most of the day).

Jeans with holes in them are not acceptable unless the holes are covered up or leggings are worn underneath. The leggings underneath cannot be sheer!

Hats and hoodies are only to be worn outside (not in the school) and cannot have gang or drug-related symbols on them. If there are questions, ask the administration or Deputy Greenhalgh. Loose items such as a hat may fall off of you if you go on wild rides at Lagoon. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Pants need to be worn OVER your butt not sagging below or partially below exposing your underwear. It’s called underwear because it goes UNDER what you wear. This rule applies at Lagoon as well!

School Lagoon Day is an official school activity and school dress code and behavior standards still apply. If you get into trouble at Lagoon, you will deal with their Security Department.
