 The Lantern festival is the festival that ends the Chinese New Year.  Yuan Xiao is another name  The Lantern Festival is held on the 15 th day of the lunar calendar.

 People would try to solve puzzles on the lantern.  Colorful lanterns were hung all around; outside and in of homes, shops, and even government buildings.  The lanterns are made out of paper, glass, and even silk.  The lanterns, were shaped as birds, dragonflies, fish, suns, moons, and stars.

 Tangyuan: means in English- glue pudding, and sweet dumplings.  Yuanxiao: is a round dumpling which symbolizes wholeness.  Yuan Xiao: is another kind of dumpling.
