War-winning capabilities … on time, on cost Industry Day Solicitation FA R-KUMMSC This is the 2nd of two Industry Day Events Today’s Industry Day Event will consist of a tour of the KUMMSC Facility with primary focus on the BCMS operating system, sensor maintenance and Information Technology Upgrade requirements Reason for BCMS focus: Government trying to determine if this effort remains sole source or if it can be effectively competed Government needs to know if the schematic drawings posted on FBO, the PWS as written, and today’s tour provide sufficient information for industry to understand the source code to effectively perform this contract effort. If not, what further information is required? Proof of your ability to compete must be clearly spelled out in a Statement of Capability which is due 19 Jun 15 (see FBO posting for details) Q&A session with the group and One-on-One sessions for requested parties.
War-winning capabilities … on time, on cost “Current” Contract Structure Solicitation FA R-KUMMSC Current contractor is Maverick Technologies Contract is Firm Fixed Price with Cost Reimbursable CLINs for any unscheduled work such as emergency calls Contract expires 29 Sep 2015; anticipate negotiating a bridge contract with Maverick from 30 Sep 15 – 31 May 16 Within past year, software was upgraded via separate purchase order to Maverick Technologies Government contracted w/Army Corps of Engineers to refurbish Air Handling Units (AHUs) Phase 1 - Begins Mar ’15 (approximately 9-12 months to complete) Phase 2 – Currently delayed; anticipate completion April 2016 Valve upgrade in FY16 Future upgrades may require contract modification 6

These activities include calibration, replacing chemical/biological filters, maintaining historical results to calibrations, testing/balancing of the system, and an emergency call function that is available 24/7 to respond within 4 hrs Adding a new requirement performing Information Technology upgrades. Future maintenance of 11 AHU’s TBD Draft contract type and CLIN structure is TBD May possess Firm Fixed Priced CLINs for routine support and Cost Reimbursable CLINs for any unscheduled work such as emergency calls The contract will be written for 1 base year and 4/1- year options
