S.T.D. Statistics in Teens More than half of all people will have an STD at some point in their lifetime. The estimated total number of people living in the US with a viral STD is over 65 million. Every year, there are at least 19 million new cases of STDs, some of which are curable. Less than half of adults ages 18 to 44 have ever been tested for an STD other than HIV/AIDS. Each year, one in four teens contracts an STD. One in two sexually active persons will contact an STD by age 25.

S.T.D.s for Boys Syphilis: Primary syphilis infections are characterized by sores on genitals, rectum, tongue or lips; secondary infections are characterized by body rash (especially on hands and feet), fever, headache and soreness of joints. Each year, there are an estimated 70,000 new cases of syphilis. Gonorrhea: women may not experience any symptoms however they include, frequent itching and yellow discharge from the vagina.
