Excellent Educators for Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District EE4NJ meets BRRSD! Getting Started

Where it began… : Governor’s Educator Effectiveness Task Force developed evaluation guidelines : DOE implemented EE4NJ pilot program with 11 pilot districts and 19 schools currently receiving School Improvement Grant (SIG) funding : Capacity building and preparation year for all districts, second year of pilot for some districts : Full roll-out and implementation of new teacher evaluation systems

Role of the EE4NJ Committee To develop a plan for implementation of EE4NJ in accordance with NJDOE requirements (see slide 3) Make recommendations to the DEAC and the district administration Receive training in the requirements of EE4NJ and the selected framework Turn-key training to teachers and administrators as needed
