Physical Geography of E/SE Asia Two areas that contributed to China’s isolation are the Gobi desert and the Himalayas. The Great Wall of China was made to keep out Mongolian invaders. The benefits of terraced farming include easy irrigation and more arable land. Japan adapts to living on the Ring of Fire by building buildings on springs, having strict building codes, and safety drills.

HEI in E/SE Asia Lack of arable land- terraced farming. My solution can work in either a developed or developing nations because all they have to do is dig into the sides of hills. Tectonic activity- buildings on springs. My solution can only work in developed nations because giant springs are expensive. Traditional FarmingFarming

Population in E/SE Asia China Problem- Overpopulation One child policy- Each urban family is allowed to have one child and rural families are allowed two.
