Verify Overview  What is FPAL Verify?  A process of evaluating suppliers’ Quality, HSE, Competence & Training capabilities. Based on processes used by major operators and aligned with industry standards (NORSOK, OGP).  An on-site, evidence-based evaluation with a pre-visit questionnaire.  Verifies that suppliers are doing what they say they do.  Cross Industry Schedule – participant buyers can add suppliers to audit list.  Benefits of FPAL Verify to buyers:  Sharing of objective, consistent & independent assessment information.  Save cost & time of repetitive assessment visits.  Includes detail, improvement plans, not provided by ISO certificates.  Complements and enables use of shorter or Model ITTs.  Benefits of FPAL Verify to suppliers:  One-time audit – well that’s the theory.  Consultative approach.  Improvement plans.  Contract-specific & technical audits may still occasionally be required.

Pilot Forward Workplans/ Model ITTs Forward Work Plans is a DECC initiative supported by FPAL and Oil and Gas UK, to provide a helpful guide on opportunities which may be tendered. A forward work plan is an indicative plan that is subject to change and plans are hosted on the FPAL website. As well as providing a window of opportunity to the supply chain, providing plans are part of working towards the GOLD tiered compliance award within the supply chain code of practice. Demonstrates commitment in being part of an ethical and equitable supply chain. 26 Plans on website estimated 80% of the total UKCS spend.

Performance Feedback Industry standard tool, available to buyers and suppliers wishing to carry out a performance assessment during or following a piece of work.
