How can you tell the difference between the different type of sentences? It is all in their structure! All sentences have different structures. You can decipher the different types of sentences by simply identifying the different clauses in the sentences and the number of clauses in a sentence.

What is a clause again? A group of words with a subject & predicate. How many clauses are there? There are 2 different types of clauses.
